Irises at Giverny
irises at Giverny.
Irises were out in full bloom when we visited Monet's garden in Giverny and despite the thousands of visitors it was possible to stand back in a corner and sketch the gardens, so that I could paint this when i got back home. I would have loved to have had my oil paints with me, but that was not possible on that trip.
